Print Licencing Agreement

At Cubist Corner, we create original surface pattern designs for fashion, home décor, kidswear, stationery, packaging, and lifestyle brands. Every artwork is protected by copyright and is licensed—not sold—unless otherwise agreed in writing. By purchasing or commissioning a design from Cubist Corner, you agree to the following terms.

Commercial License

A Commercial License grants you the right to use the purchased design on your products for commercial purposes. You may manufacture and sell products featuring the licensed artwork within your business. However, the artwork may not be resold, redistributed, sublicensed, or shared as a digital file. You may not claim the artwork as your own or sell the design independently. Under a Commercial License, Cubist Corner retains ownership of the artwork and reserves the right to license the same design to other clients.

Exclusive License

An Exclusive License provides exclusive usage rights for the purchased artwork. Once an exclusive license has been purchased, the design will be removed from Cubist Corner's catalogue and will not be licensed or sold to any other client. Copyright ownership remains with Cubist Corner unless a separate written agreement specifically transfers copyright. Exclusive rights apply only to the purchased artwork and do not guarantee that independently created similar designs will not exist elsewhere.

Custom Design Services

Cubist Corner also offers custom surface pattern design services tailored to your brand's requirements. Custom designs are created based on the approved design brief and include up to two rounds of revisions, unless otherwise agreed. Additional revisions or changes beyond the original brief may be charged separately. Work begins once the project has been confirmed and the agreed advance payment has been received.

Colourways

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, each design includes two colourways. Additional colourways may be provided as part of a custom quotation or promotional offer.

Delivery

upon successful payment, your purchased print(s) will be delivered digitally in production-ready formats via email or the agreed delivery method, typically within a few hours. In rare cases where additional processing is required, delivery may take up to 24 hours, and you will be informed accordingly.

For custom design projects, the delivery timeline will be communicated and agreed upon before the project begins.

Editable source files (such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Procreate files) are not included unless specifically mentioned in the quotation or agreement.

Payment Terms

For custom projects, a minimum advance payment is required before work begins. The remaining balance must be cleared before final artwork is delivered. Once design work has commenced, payments are non-refundable.

Copyright

All artwork remains the intellectual property of Cubist Corner. Any unauthorized copying, tracing, reproduction, modification, resale, redistribution, or commercial use of our artwork without written permission is strictly prohibited. Cubist Corner reserves the right to take appropriate legal action in the event of copyright infringement.

Portfolio Rights

Cubist Corner may display licensed designs in its portfolio, website, or marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing. For exclusive licenses, the artwork will be removed from public sale after purchase.

Limitation of Liability

Cubist Corner shall not be responsible for any indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of licensed artwork. Clients are responsible for ensuring that products manufactured using the artwork comply with applicable laws and industry standards.

Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Punjab, India.
